Drugstore Everyday Make Up Routine for Oily Skin!

Hi everyone!
For today's blog, I'm going to be talking about my everyday make up routine...
Now, as said before, I have pretty oily skin, with a few blemishes and freckles which I do not try to cover up...I actually quite like them haha :)
So, I'm at school all day and the thing that I want most from my make up is that is lasts well, has a good coverage whilst looking natural and controls the oils from my skin.
After experimenting with MANY products, I think I've finally found a cheap and easy routine which does all these things...so enough chit chat, let's get into it!

The first thing I do in the morning is get up, wash my face and moisturise (skincare blog to follow soon! :)). After that I apply my only higher end product which is Clinique's Super City Block SPF 40.

This is basically a sunscreen for your face that is oil free and doesn't feel greasy at all! As I've got some discolouration on my skin, I need to protect it even more to prevent further darkening of the damaged skin so this product is an essential for me and at £16 is not too pricey!

The next thing I do is apply a primer, and not for keeping my make up on longer but to control my oily skin. For this I use No7's Shine Free Primer.

This is not like other typical primers as it is not silicone based and does not blend well at all...I'm not selling this very well haha but it is an amazing product for me. I apply this to my forehead, nose and chin (the places where I get most oily) and instantly the primer leaves it feeling smooth and matte and keeps it this way all day!

After this I start with make up and the first thing I do is apply my favourite foundation which is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in number 53. I have done a review on this already so if you would like to know the details please check that out :)

After this, I apply my Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer to any blemishes and blend it in with my ring finger. This is a really great concealer as it's quite full coverage but leaves a matte finish and does last a really long time!

After this I apply my Benefit Posie Tint, which I bought on eBay as I personally think the price for this was a little too much. Posie Tint is an amazing product which gives me a lovely flush on the cheeks and lasts all day!

On top of this, I apply my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. To be honest...this product does what it says, it mattifys my skin and sets my make up and is a good price...what's not to like?

Then, to warm up my complexion a little, I apply my Bourjois Bronzing Powder into the hollows of my cheek and around my temples. Especially in the summer, I love the look of slightly bronzed skin so this makes an amazing difference!

After finishing with my face, I apply a tinted lip balm, as I get REALLY dry lips all year round. For this I use Vaseline Rosy Lips which smells amazing and moisturises really well!

Then onto eyes...First I apply a couple of coats of my Loreal Volume Million Lashes in Extra Black. I bought this about a month ago as it was on offer in my local Superdrug and although I'd heard amazing things about it, I didn't find it as good as everyone else! Don't get me wrong, it's a good mascara, but when I've used it up...I think I'll be looking for another!

Eyeliner next...and this product is truly amazing! Soap and Glory Cosmetics Smoulder Kohl Eyeliner is £5 from Boots and is one of the creamiest, easiest to blend eyeliners I've ever used! It's so pigmented and doesn't smudge onto the skin. I use this in the waterline and tightline and it lasts all day!

Okay last product! I bought this a very long time ago from Superdrug and it's my Gosh Lipstick in the colour Darling. Just by looking at it, this lipstick looks very neutral beige but on the lips it comes out more of a pinky colour so beware! If your not careful, this can sink into the cracks in your lips and make them look a bit weird but if you apply a lip balm before its a great colour lipstick!

Andddddd that's it for my daily make up...if anyone would like an in depth review of any of these products please comment below...and thanks for reading!
